Aka- Scattergories

 

Steps:

NOTE:  Make sure you have Version 1.1.0 - if you had downloaded a previous Version

​

** On Initial Install **

1 - Double tap - Profile Name - Change it to your Profile Name - select Image if you want - Profile Name and Image will be used on the Leaderboard

 

** Hosting a Game

2 - On Host Game Tab - Add a Game

  - Select Categories and Letters - or Let App Select it Randomly

  - Number of Rounds and Time Limit of Each Round

 

3 - Long Tap Gesture on the Menu

  - Select New Share

  - Select Mail or Message to send other Players your created Game

*** NOTE - Can ONLY Host 1 game at a time - Previous Game will have to be deleted - before a New Game can be created.  BUT as a Player you can play any number of Games at a time ***

 

4 - The Game you created will be available as a Select Game option on Play Games Tab - Select the Game you created 

 

You should see Minimum Player Required (2 is minimum in Version 1.1.0)

 

Host will have 2-3 Tabs - Player will have 1-2 Tabs - depending on Game Status

 

Game Creator is the Host

 

6 - On Home Tab - Press - Join the Game (All Players that have Joined the Game will be shown here before the Game is started)

 

7 - On Home Tab - Leader Board will be shown after the Game has started.

 

Once - Host has Confirmed all Players have Joined the Game - Host can Start the Game - from Hosts Game Control Tab

 

Note:  Players will be asked to download the App (if necessary)

 

***NOTE - In Version 1.1.0 - you MAY need to accept invitation multiple times - before the Game Appears as an Select Option in Select Game Button***

 

The Player

- After Accepting the Invitation - Player will select the Game - Join the Game - Wait for the Game to Start.  Once the Game has started - My Rounds Tab will appear.

 

The Host

- Controls the Game from Game Control Tab 

 

8 - Once Minimum Player is Satisfied 

 - Start Game Button Will Appear - Once the Game has Started - Any Player Invited that has NOT joined the game - will not be allowed to Play

 

The Host Starts the Game

 

9 - Once Game is started - Host can swipe and activate the Round from Game Control Tab

 

10 - Once Host and Players have finished Playing - Host can Score the Round

- Players can View the Answers and Scores on the Result Tab

 

11 - Continue Activating the Rounds - Playing The Rounds - Scoring The Rounds

 

12 - Leader Board will update as each Round is Played

 

13 - Once the Game is completed - The Host - can End and Delete the Game

 

NOTE:  Any App User can Host a Game - But Each User can ONLY host 1 game at a time.

NOTE:  App will be Updated and Modified on Regular Bases - Once User Input - and any issues are discovered and resolved.  Try to have the latest Version of the App
